Deployer docs
Guidance for organizations that use DTPR to describe a technology they run, on signs, online and in community workshops.
Deployer docs menu
These pages are for deployers: the organizations that use DTPR to explain a technology they run, such as a city with sensors on its streets or an agency that uses an algorithm to make decisions. You don't need to use the API. Everything here works with the icons and descriptions in the taxonomy.
If you are new to DTPR, read the Get Started guide first. It explains the taxonomy, the methodology behind it and the icons in one page.
In this section
- Design principles: the seven principles that guide every DTPR deployment.
- Digital channel: describing a technology on a website, a portal or inside a product.
- Public signage: signs for places where data is collected, like a school, a park or a busy street.
- Shapes and colours: why the icons look the way they do, and how to keep them accessible.
- Community workshops: using DTPR in co-design sessions with residents.
- Feedback survey: the six questions that let people tell you what they think.
The words DTPR uses, such as element, context and datachain, are defined in Concepts.
